John Will Elementary School’s faculty, staff, and I would like to welcome you to a new school year! My name is Deidre Jefferson and I am proud to serve as the principal of John Will Elementary. Whether you are new or returning, the year ahead will be a rewarding experience for your child. John Will Elementary School is committed to working with, understanding, and nurturing each and every child. Those are only a few reasons why John Will is a wonderful place for children to learn and grow.
At John Will, we strive to provide rigorous, learning opportunities for each and every student. Our highly qualified faculty and staff strive daily to promote the educational, social, and emotional development of all students. Our goal is to use the best, research-based teaching methods and strategies so that students can become college and career ready.
Academic success is at its best when there is a combined effort between the home and school. Administrators and teachers at John Will Elementary are ready to assist parents in addressing any issue related to a student’s academic progress. Parents/guardians are encouraged to visit the school. We look forward to you attending all scheduled parent/teacher meetings. In addition, we encourage you to volunteer at John Will when your schedule permits.
